“Swing” An acrobatic danse macabre suspended from a wooden gallows, gently swinging. A full nude is somewhat unusual for me; but in this case I didn’t want the clothes to be a distraction, to assign a ‘role’ to the woman. She is not ‘an acrobat’ or ‘a dancer’ or any definition that is merely occupation. She is life and death, human and inhuman, beautiful and grotesque. (This image disturbs a lot of people, and the post-its above will disturb the rest. Sorry about that. “The Peaceful Jungle” New, but a re-working of a much older, smaller piece.  The original from May 2005 was too small to do anything with other than view on screen.  There were some… technical issues as well. The original, on Renderosity Prints & Such at Redbubble Poster & iPad Case at Zazzle* * NOTE: Although I didn’t feel I needed to censor the above image; as I interpret Zazzle’s guidelines, she’s nude (even though you can’t “see anything”!) and therefore “Rated R”.  You will therefore need to be logged in with a verified adult Zazzle login set to “R” to even look at it.
